LOOKING BACK ON 2022 NEWS

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (June 29, 2022) – Landen Lewis has been named to drive the Bill McAnally Racing No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet SS in the remaining six races on the ARCA Menards Series West 2022 schedule.

The 16-year-old from Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina will make his first start with BMR on Saturday at Southern California’s Irwindale Speedway in the NAPA AUTO PARTS 150 presented by the West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame.

“This is a pretty cool opportunity for Landen,” Hornaday said. “I have known Bill for a long time and I think this is a perfect fit for Landen. I look forward to seeing him carrying my old colors and number with NAPA. Landen is a type of driver when put to the test he always exceeds our expectations. I am excited to see what Landen can do with this team and these new tracks he will be going to.”

Mooresville, NC (June 9th, 2022) – As the ARCA RACING SERIES West hits Sonoma Raceway, many new drivers have taken to the series, including the new comer, Landen Lewis. Lewis made a name for himself with his, ARCA Series victory at Duquoin last year, and most recently his win in his series debut at Kern County Raceway Park in the West series. BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Landen Lewis is quickly making a name for himself.

Less than a year after winning in just his second ARCA Menards Series appearance at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds in Illinois, Lewis managed to take home a checkered flag in his ARCA Menards Series West debut Saturday evening in the Salute to the Oil Industry NAPA Auto Parts 150 at Kern County Raceway Park in Bakersfield, California. Landen Lewis made his first career ARCA Menards Series West start at Kern County Raceway while picking up his first career ARCA West division victory on Saturday. Lewis, piloting the No. 42 19th green / MMI Services Chevrolet, started third. “I don’t know what to say! Bakersfield, Ca (April 21st, 2022) – As the ARCA Menards Series West invades Bakersfield’s, Kern County Raceway Park this weekend, a half mile banked oval nestled in the agricultural heartland of California, drivers all over the west have been preparing mind, body, and car. As much can be said for east coaster, Landen Lewis. Lewis has three ARCA RACING SERIES events under his belt, with a victory in his second race, the Duquoin State Fair 100, in September 2021, where he lead from green to checkers for the win. Mooresville, NC (April 5, 2022) - Announced today, Team Hornaday Development driver Landen Lewis will return to the ARCA (Automobile Racing Club of America) Series to compete in the West race at Kern County Raceway on April 23rd. 

With three starts in the ARCA Series, Lewis scored his first-career ARCA win in just his second series start with a dominating win at DuQuoin State Fairgrounds (September 5, 2021) where he started from the pole and led every lap. [Full Story]
