LANDEN LEWIS IS BACK IN THE ROPER RACING CARQUEST CHEVROLET
Mooresville, NC (August 8th, 2023) – Roper Racing once again is handing over the wheel to ARCA West Series regular, Landen Lewis. Lewis made a run with the team last month at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and was struck with bad weather dampening his NASCAR Truck Series debut. The series rookie survived the run in the rain and as the sun came out found time to learn and progress. “Yes, the weather conditions may have hindered my debut and made things a little difficult,” Lewis said. “However, it was a great learning experience, and I was glad to run inside the top 15 for most of the race. 2021 was a breakout year for Landen, who won the Legend Car “Trifecta” of Dirt, Asphalt and Road Course Nationals and the North Carolina State Championship. He also made his ARCA Menards Series debut and Won in his second start at the Duquoin State Fair 100.
In 2022 Landen began working with Bruce Cook and Charlie Wilson and found success in the ARCA Menards Series West taking the Win at Kern County Raceway Park in Bakersfield, California. Grabbing the eye of Bill McAnally, Landen drove the #16 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet for a partial season.
Landen is only the 2nd driver in Legend Car history to win Dirt Nationals, Asphalt Nationals and Road Course Nationals in one year
Landen made his Late Model debut in California at Madera Speedway in 2021.
He made his ARCA Menards Series debut and won in his second start at the Duquoin State Fair 100.
